Sideline ("the app") is a grassroots football coaching companion for iOS, Android and macOS. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
None. Sideline has no user accounts and no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. Everything you enter — your teams, players, formations, matches and match events — is stored only on your device in a local database. It is never sent to us or to any third party.
The app can export your data to a file (a backup, or a single team) and can import such a file. This only ever happens when you choose to do it, using your device's own share/file features. The file goes wherever you send it (for example Files, AirDrop, or email) — it is not sent to us, and we never receive or have access to it.
Sideline offers a one-time "Sideline Pro" unlock. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Any information related to a purchase is processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
Sideline is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your data lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Deleting the app removes its data. Because nothing is stored on our servers (we have none), there is nothing for us to retain or delete.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
